Service Degradation - Delay in Message Delivery
Incident Report for SMS Magic
Resolved
Cause:
The issue happened due to high memory utilization for the machine which processes the delivery queues.

Impact:
This caused a delay in message delivery for around 5 hours.

Resolution:
The infra issue was resolved at 2020-07-26 17.15 UTC and after that, all the messages in the queue got processed in the next half an hour.

Our engineers are taking steps for better monitoring and taking action for no such incident in the future. We will update this announcement as soon as more information is available on its progress.
